Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation. This type of relaxation is in itself a pleasant, beneficial experience.
During hypnosis there is an altered state of conscious awareness, which facilitates the use of various therapeutic methods. This will include the promotion of calmness, relaxation and confidence and the use of various techniques, as appropriate, including Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques, such as the Fast Phobia Cure.
Hypnotherapy/NLP is particularly effective in promoting general calmness and confidence in your daily life, and this calmness and confidence can also be directed towards particular parts of your life. Therefore anxiety, panic or phobias can be investigated and overcome; as can exam or presentation nerves; and stage or sports performance can be maximised.
Work can be confined to the present or can include regression to past experiences. Of course many present problems are rooted in the past. Hypnotherapy is effective in the treatment of a wide range of problems, some of which you will see listed under 'How Can I Help You'.
